Invisalign® treatment for teenagers works almost identically to how it would for an adult – we use a series of custom-made clear aligners to guide your teen’s smile into a new alignment discretely and efficiently.

When we see your teen for their free consultation, we will assess what your concerns are with your child’s smile and develop a customised treatment plan detailing how we can use Invisalign® to align their teeth. Furthermore, we may also take some photos and a scan of their teeth at the assessment.
The next stage is to develop and show you the Invisalign® ‘Clincheck’ which is a 3D simulation that shows you how your child’s teeth will move, and what the end result of the treatment will look like.
Finally, your teen will be provided with a series of clear aligners, each of which are shaped slightly different to assist in the movement of the teeth. Your teen will wear each aligner for a week and the teeth will be guided into proper alignment with gentle pressure.
Invisalign® is made to ensure it does not interfere with day-to-day life as much as possible. We use removable aligners, meaning that teenagers in treatment will not need to adjust their diet, activities or brushing and flossing during treatment.
